Last Updated - 10/06/24 The following are some projects that I have been working on and I am very proud of. Proud of most of them, that is. Game Development Projects Dodge the Mobs - A simple HTML game I wrote following the official Godot tutorial. Background is of my handsome friend Nic. Released 11/25/23 Gravity Cave - Platformer game I made with a unique mechanic gravity switching mechanic I wrote. Also made all the art assets. Not the sound effects, however. Published 12/06/23 Ship Lander - Quick “lunar lander” type game. First step into 3d game development, built following a tutorial. Released 08/14/24 Fish Eat Fishy - A 3D remake of Feeding Frenzy/Fishy. Created in 48 hours. WASD/Arrow Keys controls. Released 10/06/24
2024 Summary
My Year in Review: 2024 2024 was an eventful year for me. So in no particular order, here’s what I’ve been up to. I officially graduated with my Bachelor’s in IT from WGU. I finished my last class in December of 2023, but all the paperwork was finalized in January of 2024. It took a fair amount of work, but my experience was very positive overall. Traditional schooling has never been for me, I’ve always followed the beat of my own drum, which online schooling allowed me to do. Revisiting My Site
It’s been a while hasn’t it? I honestly thought I was shouting into the void when I made this website. My intentions were to create a site that maybe an employer would look at and say “neat”, however, my brother and friend Emric revealed that they do actually look at my read my website. They’ve revitalized my efforts to update, and create more personal projects that I’m proud of. I’m writing this now because of them. I also went through quite the effort to recover the project files and access the server with my new computer, fixed a bug with the dates on the website, and removed some old information. ...
Security+, the final battle
Security+, GG EZ A few hours ago, I took and passed the Security+. I was much more confident with this one, compared to the Network+. However, the results are still the same, I passed and I can move on with my life. It took me about a week and a half to study and learn the material. I’d say I spent maybe 20 hours in total. My goal was to finish before my coming trip, which I’ll write an article about afterwards ;) . ...
